SUBMITTING A FORMAL PROPOSAL
The Pennsylvania NanoMaterials Commercialization Center (the Center) with the support of the Department of Community and Economic Development of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the Air Force Research Laboratories made available a total of $700,000 to fund and accelerate the commercialization nanomaterial research.
There were two funding opportunities: $35,000 for Pre-Commercialization projects and $185,000 for Commercialization projects. The Center was particularly interested in technology development focused on renewable, clean and efficient energy solutions. Refer to the "Energy Section" of the Technology Roadmap. However, proposals for broader applications of nanomaterials were also considered. Refer to the other sections of the Center's Technology Roadmap.
